Hmm.then you'd have to do a quaded glump to get to the exit etc.not fun with 100/100.īut prove me wrong, do a demo shambler :) Oh and shambler: how do you figure using the quad would be faster? I can't see that happening. But I managed to get a run when I was down to 1:10 but I fell down (don't laugh dammit. I think it's a 20 sec improvement or something around that. And my wrist hurts so I can't do it now (the exercises morfans recommended don't help although they are quite enjoyable).īut I suppose I could submit it.

The mod scene for Quake 1 has exploded big again in recent years, thanks to the release of the new editor Trenchbroom. I actually quite liked these guys back in the day, although I incorrectly referred to them as yetis. But it's still crap and I was going to improve it further but then I forgot about it. Very nice depiction of the Shambler, you got the iconic pose and everything. It's actually bitchy enough to be optic's mom, but hey, let's not go there, right? :) I never want to see that bitch of a map again, and to me it is 5 months, because that map aged me by 1 1/2 months in one day anyway. Why don't you shambler? (always assuming you have the skill =). Amrik, in the 3 1/2 months (not 5 doh) since you did the demo, I don't suppose it occured to you to improve it and get rid of those sloppy mistakes? Or try using the Quad which would be much faster?
